Error of reconstruction was a period between 1865 to 1877. it was an effort to reunite a nation settled by civil war build a new society in south on the ashes of slavery. the error reminds us that the liberation of 4 million people from bondage did not suddenly erase the Deep racial prejudices born of slavery. in general historians consider it is an unsuccessful effort for several reasons.

Reconstruction has long been misrepresented or simply neglected in our schools and unlike. Confederate generals and founders of the Ku klux klan, few if any moments exist to the black and white leaders of that era. politically the government did convince Southern state to rejoin the union in a fairly simple process. They also managed to pass the 13th 14th and 15th amendment.

The black coat and other laws restricting former slaves through clearly on constitutional,we are not challenged in court of struck down by local military authority is leaving African American virtually unprotected and subject once again to working for whites involuntarily.
