Personality can be explained as personal characteristics that lead to consistent patterns of behaviour.

Attitude can be described as relatively lasting feelings ,beliefs,and behaviour tendencies directed towards specific people,groups,ideas or objects. Attitude do not normally predict or cause behaviour in direct way.

Personality characteristics that can influence attitude change ,are mainly three characteristics as described in OCEAN theory of personality.

1. Openness- appreciation for new ideas,variety of experiences. Openness leads a person to be more flexible and change accordingly which helps in change in their attitudes whenever necessary and thus change in behaviour too.

2. Extroversion- person full of energy,positive emotions ,assertive sociable thus high extroverted people are more sociable,tend to be more dominant in social settings and thus can lead to change in attitudes of people in their vicinity and surely induce a positive attitude in them.

3. Agreeableness- A tendency to be compassionate and cooperative rather than being antagonist.high agreeableness is considered to be naive or submissive and can accommodate easily, also change or influence in attitude is possible in such people.
