2 pages to discuss how the police can re-gain the trust and respect of the public. What changes would you like to see? What activities should the police start? stop? continue?  Please explain what are the barriers to your plan.

Police can re-gain the trust and confidence of the public by doing below mentioned things:
Things to Start:

• They should start treating everyone equally and should not discriminate people based on race or gender.
• Fellow citizen should be given chance to explain themselves for smaller issues instead of directly punishing them or moving them police station.
• Police should have empathy towards their fellow citizens being living together in the society they should not treat people differently.

Things to Stop:

• Police should not judge all black people as guilty right from the point they start talking to them, that decision should be taken by the law not police directly.
• Police should stop taking any form of bribery that currently in few parts of the states they take.
• Police should stop differentiating their treatment based on the social class person belongs too.

This to Continue:

• Police should uphold the law as they are still doing.
• Police should save fellow citizen from inhuman people and persons who stay with us in the society.

Barriers which are present in my plan are mentioned below:

• Gaining trust of common people may take some time so fellow police man should continue doing their job sooner or later people realize their value.
• Because of few culprits in police department whole department is seen like this by everyone, this would be hard to change.
• Few policeman are hardwire to consider black people as inferior and persons who involved in crime, this will become hard to change the thinking of such poilice personals.
