What does being a public historian mean if one doesn’t have to hold a degree in history?  Can we all be historians?  Who should be trusted with the past?

INTRODUCTION :- Public historians are those people who are professionally involved in the process of obtaining much more specific knowledge regarding the history of a particular place,or the area which they have assigned themselves with.These public historians does variety of works which includes searching about the information of the past,they even assign themselves in the museum where they impart knowledge to others.In simple words,these are such people whose profession includes getting the insight about the past things and events,and thus comprehending this knowledge among us.

WHAT DOES BEING A PUBLIC HISTORIAN MEAN IF ONE DOESN'T HAVE TO HOLD A DEGREE IN HISTORY?I

If one does not have to hold a degree in history,yet even in that condition that person can be called as public historian.In this condition,it describes the interest and passion of that person in the particular area,which makes him to grab more and more knowledge about the past events.Due to which,though the person does not hold,or is not willing to have particular study program in the history,yet he will be known as public historian,considering the immense amount of information he have in the given field,and as such he can even be inclined professionally in the particular field as historian.

CAN WE ALL BE HISTORIAN?

No,not all person cannot be historian.It is because,it requires that a person should be willing to learn more and more about the past occuring to get involve in the field,and thus become historian.Even though,it is not always require that a person should have complete degrees to be claimed as historian,because without it also one can join the profession of historian,but it belongs to only such people,who have huge understanding about such part of life,that existed in long back.Thus,such people can become historian.So,we can say,not everyone can be historian,because it requires passion and interest to be one,as every individual does not possess it,so only those who possess it can be historian,rather being all.

WHO SHOULD BE TRUSTED WITH THE PAST?

The people who have done depth study about the things and events that took place in the past,and comes with the evidence of their studies,can only be trusted with the past.In other words,who have themselves studied about the happening,and are involve in field professionally can only be trusted with the past.
