Language- language can be define as the way or medium to express feelings, opinion, judgements, view to another human beings.

Language is open can be defined through number of way that is -

1) when a person communicate with another person,his/her language is not planned before communication.he communicate as he wants. For example- when we communicate with any friend or person we have not any plan for communication or we do not prepare any plan before communication.we say what we want regarding what topic is discussed.

2.language of the animal is defined as closed because their language is not like man, they release one type of sound only.but in human language we use different forms, such as sound, letter and gesture to express our views, feelings and other.

3.The symbols and grammatical rule of any particular language are largely arbitrary, meaning that the system can only be acquired through social interaction. The known system of communication used by animal,on the other hand, can only express a finite set of utterances that are mostly genetically transmitted.

4.Human language also differ from animal language system in that they employ grammatical and semantic categories, such as noun and verb or present or past to express exceedingly complex meaning.

5. Human language is also unique in having the property of recursivity. This is the way in which, for example, a noun phrase contain another noun phrase(as in "the chimpanzee's leep")or a clause to contain a clause(as in "I think that it's raining").

6.Human language is only known natural communication system that is modality independent, that its meaning that it can be used not only for communication through one channel or media, but through several, for example spoken language uses the auditive modality where sign language and writing language use the visual modality and braille writing uses the tactile modality.
