The company I have chosen for this purpose is Ubisoft (Game company) and the product I have selected is a Video game that the company is currently planning to release.

We all know that video game is probably the only market in the world that has survived through the tests of time. Not only is it constantly growing, it is ever-changing and therefore, even established companies like Ubisoft need to constantly upgrade their marketing strategies. Especially with the vast amount of competition in the market.

The strategy will start with the Pre-order release of the game based on the first cinematic trailer or the first sneak preview of the elements that the product is all about. The marketing strategy involves the use of game conferences like E3 to effectively reserve a spot in order to allow the fans and even new customers to get acquainted with the product. The budgeting expense will be mostly utilized for internet advertisement campaigns, partnership and affiliate advertising and use of free gameplay for quality review purpose by the most popular gamers.

The strategy will not conclude when the sales date is set, rather, even after the game has released and well into its customer interaction phase, even then word of mouth publicity and free access to online services for a limited period of time if you invite your friends ad campaigns will allow the product to be marketed.
