South-West Trains is a company with a well established collective bargaining agreement. Collective Bargaining is an important tool to negotiate with their employees about the various terms like pay and terms and conditions of employment. Issues relating to performance and attendance are also being consulted.
Thus the company is able to negotiate with their employees on the terms and conditions of the employment. Moreover, employees also get a sense of satisfaction and loyalty towards the company based on treatment received by the employees. It also gives a chance to include the staff in the major decision making process.
