Strategic leadership is basically a term coined to refer a person's (who is a leader) potential to express a vision for the benifit of the organization in a strategic manner. Many a times the leader can be only a technical guy who started of some project due to his curiousity and over the period of time developed into a good strategic leader by following and learning traits of business. Sometimes, the leader is a fine, polished, educated person from a reputed IVY league university having all the theoritical knowledge. But if aim of both the above people is same i.e leading the organization in a strategic manner by taking all the decisions after thinking of long term betterment of organization, then both can be termed as strategic leaders.

Internal Corporate Venturing Process:- This is basically diversifying the product ranges based on the RnD of the company or we can call venturing into a new process after careful research. This term is basically for the large experienced companies which are actively profitable in their current process/product and have a very good research team which can allow them to venture into a new process after knowing the pros and cons. Diversifying is never easy. Systematic research suggests, it takes approx. 8-10 yrs to achieve ROI after venturing into a new field. Some of them can be short lived but those companies which have a good market research dept. can survive for ages and also become one of the best.
