Disputing an argument on the basis of reasoning simply means to provide facts in order to support our claim. The evidence provided helps support our claim which maybe clear and logical in nature. Reasoning involves logical and sensible thinking to prove our point or to prove the other point invalid/baseless. As arguments involves giving persuasive reasons, when tackling them with logical pointers, it involves reasoning.

Normative Ethics : It involves the study of how people should behave. It is ideal in nature. Example : “ Cursing people is bad”.

Descriptive Ethics : The study of how people actually behave and what they presume of their actual behaviour looks like. It is perspective in nature. Example : “ The song has a very low rating on Spotify”.

Decisions Based on ethics are more of moral driven. They are based on some standards set by societal norms or human rights. On the other hand, Decisions based on law are lawful in nature, driven by the some set standards underlined by law. The ethical standards are influenced by the norms of society whereas the laws are a result of the actions of government as well as courts.

Recent development of growth of business ethics is attributed to : Firstly, The increased awareness and teaching of the subject in colleges and universities ; which lead to increased public awareness of various ethical issues in the modern society and economy. And second is the moral development of individual approach in the society.

It is said that business world is an economic arena which can regulate itself. With people protecting their interest, therefore, people trust themselves and try to gain a defensible position. Therefore, free markets would then automatically work in a manner to protect the market players and hence making the business work in an ethical manner.
