1. Huawei being a Chinese company invested a huge amount in the Lagos, region of Nigeria thereby giving numerous benfits to the West African Country. Some of these are:

  • Overall improvement of the Information and Communication Technology Systems in the area.
  • Skills buiding and training of the local in the Lagos region thereby contributing to long-term skills development.
  • Opening up of a IT hub in Lagos, Nigeria boosted job opportunities and gave employment to 1000s in the region.
  • The region benefitted from the social contributions made by Huawei as well in form of investments in education sector, the establishment of Innovation Centre at the University of Lagos and others.

2. Research Method To Answer The Above Research Question:

  • The above research question involves studying the actual data and exploring the benefits if so received by Lagos, region of Nigeria.
