As the manager of Recology Cleanscapes, my job responsibilities would be based on the strategies and standards of the organization. Recology CleanScapes is an employee owned company and hence I need to help the employees to feel like owning the company and align their activities towards the financial success of the company. Waste reduction cannot be made possible without the support from all the employees and as a manager it is my duty to create the sense of ownership in employee minds. Open book management involves the management approach where the employees are provided with information about financial conditions which help them to make better decisions in work. As the company follows open book management, my duties would also include sharing financial measures like revenues, expenses, and profits with the employees which would motivate them for better performance.
