In 200 words explain....... Reasonable minds can disagree and still be reasonable when it comes to the Exclusionary Rule. Identify whether you personally are "for" or "against" the Exclusionary Rule and what your reasoning for that opinion is
Exclusionary rule suggests that the evidences or data collected against the fourth amendment by the government against individuals is against the constitution. This would mean that any unwarranted searches and seizures cannot be used in the court against them. although it’s a blessing for the people in the country, it’s also a curse if some people hold materials that could damage the whole country or people in that region. When police officers raid a particular house or area on the basis of confidential information regarding some crimes that had happened or yet to take place people should cooperate with the officers in identifying the criminals and bear the inconveniences it would cause them. Most of the time, police officers should act swiftly in preventing the crimes that are about to take place because criminals would move the evidences or tools they use for crimes, quickly. If police officers have to obtain a warrant every time, it would consume more time and this time period would be sufficient for the criminals to hide them before the police arrive. This should mean that police should be allowed to go for a search without a warrant in order to identify evidences which could form the basis for the court cases in establishing justice.
