Expert Solution

Psychologist have been studying the effect of domestic life on the professional life of the person.

Hypothesis 1. Domestic conflict have effect on job performance.

Firstly, researchers wants to show that the domestic life of the person effect the performance in their professional life. At first, we think that there is no relation of personal & professional life which a psychologist would deny as the domestic life has affect on person psychology & our psychological problems affect the professional performance.

Hypothesis 2. Domestic conflicts have negative impact on the Job performance

When a researcher will prove that the domestic life does have effect on the job performance then the further research would be on what kind of affect domestic conflicts have on the job performance. Now we know that, any conflict in the domestic life or personal life affect our mental and psychological health which in turn would Hinder our work performance.

In today's life when a person is busy, it is difficult to fulfill all the responsibilities and the satisfaction from fulfilling all those responsibilities whether it is personal or professional promotes the psychological well being of a person.

Having conflicts in personal or professional life would have negative impact on the psychological health of the person because conflict create mental stress due to which it become difficult to fulfill all the responsibilities or duties around you and ultimately causes disappointment.

So, the hypothesis that will be tested to show that the domestic conflict have impact on job performance would say that personal and professional conflicts causes psychological problems.

The null hypothesis means when there is a fact present related to something.

The alternative hypothesis means instead of accepting the fact the researches will deny it and form hypothesis that would be according to their point of view and what they you think.

Simply null hypothesis would be something that is already present and alternative hypothesis is forming a new hypothesis which will say things differently.

So, in this case,

Null hypothesis would be that, Conflicts create negative impact on psychological health.

Alternate hypothesis would be Domestic conflicts have negative impact on job performance.
