An ultra-short-wave local radio-station with frequency f = 100 MHz has power of 1 kW und is in the shape of a vertical dipol-antenna. What is the energy current density at 1km horizontal distance from the antenna and what is the maximum electrical field strength at that place?
i did the solution using gain 1.5 as nothing mentioned about if it is short dipole or half wave dipole if the answer is lower then use 1.64 in place of 1.5
The radiation pattern of dipole antenna is 90° to the axis that is maximum radiation is in the horizontal direction when antenna is vertical
