Biomedical engineering (BME) is the combination of application of engineering principles and designing concepts to biology and medicine for advanced healthcare in diagnostic,monitoring,and therapy.The word first coined by Britsh scientist and broadcast by Heinz Wolff.BME includes various branches such as mathematics,physics,chemistry and biology.

Bioengineering mainly intrest in two important area

1.It applyes the principles of engineering sciences to understand functioning of living organism

2.Applies engineering technologies to develop and design new device like therapeautic or diagnostic instruments or formulation of novel biomaterials for medical application,artificial tissue,organs designing,farming of new delivery technologies.

With the contribution of BME which improves in diagnostic imaging and implanted therapeauticmedical devices which range from clinical equipment to microplants,common imaging devices eg :EEG,MRI drugs etc...
