Ans: A Nucleus, mRNA translation, mRNA stability
m64 Modification of RNA is added in the nucleus and has been impacted in both the enhancement of mRNA translation and the reduction of mRNA stability.
An mRNA molecule is a short, single-stranded molecule containing adenine, cytosine, guanine and uracil, exons, 5'-cap (also termed an RNA cap, an RNA 7-methylguanosine cap or an RNA m7G cap) is a modified guanine nucleotide) and 3'-poly-tail (the covalent linkage of a polyadenylyl moiety). After transcription in eukaryotic cells a modified guanine cap is placed on the 5' end and a poly A tail goes on the 3' end. Before mRNA leaves the nucleus of a eukaryotic cell, a cap is added to 5' end and a poly A tail is added to the 3' end, introns are removed and exons are spliced together. The stability of mRNAs may be controlled by the 5' UTR and/or 3' UTR. During translation the amino acids are assembled into a protein. The greater the stability of an mRNA the more protein may be produced from that mRNA.
