How does the structure of the molecule lead to the physical and chemical properties of the contaminant? (Specifically discuss the phase, melting and boiling points and solubility in various substances, reactivity/

By studying the structure of the molecule one can know the internal as well as external interaction
within itself and other molecules respectively which indeed leads anyone to explore more of this
physical and chemical properties of contaminant. For instance lets say glyphosate is subjected to
heating at various temperatures then the degree of forces it has to overcome will certainly differ
as temperature rises up or goes down. As a result of this the observer will observe that glyphosate
will change its phases at different temperatures and these figures are noted. These values help
to study the flammability. If glyophosate is to be discarded into environment then it solubility
in water especially should be checked otherwise it can be toxic. Threshold limits are defined
in order to educate about the contaminant , which is done by using or applying these physio-
chemical properties.
Glyphosate is corrosive, immobile and stagnant in soil and slightly poses toxic threat to fish.
