Middle East was a central focus of the foreign policy of U.S. The aim of the latest research was to cover light on the U,S political and  economic presence in the region of Middle East before & after the World War I & later on the World War II to know, how U.S presence has emerged in the region & what motives were there behind the presence.

This is aimed by exploring wider strategic,  economic, & political motives of the U.S. The primary interests o fthe U.S in the Middle East included protecting strategic access to oil in Gulf areas, protecting and supporting sovereignty of Israel , maintaining the military bases of U.S, defending friendly regimes, client-states and resisting movements of Islamic & terrorist groups.

Examples of Influential Middle Eastern events were : Red Line Agreement, U.S & oil, sovereignty of Israel , U.S military action, promoting democracy, changing relationship b/w Egypt & U.S and supporting Saddam hussein
