1. Which theory of motivation most applies to you with regard to taking this course/program? Describe how/why that theory applies. Does the same theory apply to you all the time?
2. Which theory of emotion do you believe is most accurate, and why? Do you think emotions are based on appraisal of physical responses, the situation, or that they happen spontaneously?
The motivation for learning any particular subject or starting a new venture to a new subject really relates to the motivation which we have for the subject, the interest which we have towards any particular subject, the zeal that how much we want to explore that thing as well, taking the route towards new way and wanna explore it.
There are some courses which are taken to boost up skills as well as the career track in one's life, there are some things which people literally learn and do just to earn money. Some people even hate their job, hate what they do earn, they than become frustrated and end up in depression, So, it's very important to give a push to career and learn the new things, sometimes we also try new subject, but this is also fun, sometimes we start enjoying whatever we have in our side.
According to the James-Lange theory, it is said that we show a particular emotion as a result of a psychological impact. On the other hand, the Cannon-Bard theory suggests arousal and emotion are simultaneous.
What I believe that yes it is a result of the whatever we feel and then respond to something and it's not spontaneous.
They are based on appraisal of physical responses, the situation, like in some cases when we get praise or someone appreciate our work, we tend to be happy about it but this generally happens when we are really happy with work we do, we become happy than otherwise, it is most irritating or such things do not matter or changes the emotion.
