Ans. - Marilyn Carlson Nelson is CEO of Carlson Companies, a global tourism, and hospitality company.

She decided to start his work by protecting children from sexual harassment in the tourism industry. In 2004, Carlson companies signed a code of conduct to protect children from sexual harassment. After few years, They have started a project in Costa Rica. Costa Rica is a well-known country for children sexual harassment and torture.

Some advantages of this project:-

1> It is a great opportunity to become a model in the tourism industry

2> They can expand their work in Central America.

3> It will be a profit-earning process for future.

Some disadvantages:-

1> There is a risk of falling down their reputation if they are not succeed

2> They may have to compromise with their commitment

Problems:-

1> They have to lose revenue at the starting of this project

2> Their reputation has been falling down day by day

3> They were losing stakeholders and employees

At this situation, They were thinking to continue the project or stop the work for future business prospects.

Their decision depended on real cost, employees, customers etc.

Alternative solutions:-

They have to start their hotel business in the new location.

In this situation, they were recommended to do partnerships with other local companies. They have to start training process for their employees and give incentives.

They have to set company goals and achieve it by hook or by crook.
