Expert Solution

1. An antioxidant is the compounds that produce in our body and several foods. It also helps in defending the cells from damaging which is caused by potentially harmful molecules called free radicals. Blueberries, Strawberries, Artichokes, Kale, Red cabbage, Beans, Beets, Spinach, are high with antioxidant.

2. Several food supplements frequently contain a huge dosage of antioxidants, so intake if huge amount of antioxidants may have adverse effects for e.g. vitamin E, Beta- carotene, and lipoic acid are considered toxicity.

DPPH assay can be used for antioxidant testing which is free radical methods based on electron transfer.

DPPH generate violet color but in the presence of antioxidant it gives colorless ethanol solution

3. An antioxidant is good for human health which delays some type of cell damage but some research shown antioxidant are not beneficial for preventing diseases. Antioxidants help in neutralizing free radical in human bodies, this boost overall health. According to my antioxidant shouldn't be banned. It have various healrh benifit.
