Please review “The World of Work.” What are your own plans for achieving a satisfactory work–life balance after graduating from college? Based on the research in this section, how realistic do you think your goals are?
Nowadays The Defination of ''The World of Work'' has been changed. Digital advances is bringing changes into the World of Work.Workers expectation and thinking way also changed nowadays. Here are some examples of changing views of ''The World of Work''.
Flexibility and Facilites
Workplace flexibility and working time flexibility is the new deamands of an employee. There are some privileges also raising for new generation. As because the work mode has gone digital so employee can work from his office and can also from his house.
Not only that employees now getting privileg of traveling for their work and also getting incentives for the travel.This is a new trend of ''The World of Work"".
Changing job
In the past, people had no enough courage to leave a job and searching for another one. But nowadays ''The world of Work'' concept is also more advanced. Now an Employee has the enough courage to leave a old job and find a new suitable job. This is also a new trend of ''The world of Work''
Work-Life Balance matters a lot
Work-Life balance is nowadays a top priority. Employee now demands time from their work authority to maintain a proper personal life. Not only that offering Food to the employees at the work place is also a new trend.
Long time Unemployment
Long time Unemployment is a big present issue of ''The World of Work''. Nowadays people are fails to find a suitable job even after having a good educational Degree. This is becoming a economical problem also.
Skills
Skills are becoming more valueable for getting a proper job. According to a Man power Survey in the last year it can be stated that among 32000 candidates 29% candidates are hired just because their professional skills. So it can be concluded that, Now ''The world of Work'' is more concentrating on the professional skills of the employee rather than any accademic degree.
After completing my graduation like others i also will join a Buisness organization for making my career. But we all know that, working pressure is a big problem to deal with. Not only that it will be very difficult if we are not maintain a proper work-Life Balance. So i have stated some plans for maintaining a proper Work-Life Balance.
Measuring My Time-
I will always try to analyz my present situation. Not only that i will also measure everything i do in one week. I always try to notice how much time i am giving to my work related purpose and how much time i am spending for my personal life. I think this strategy will help me to understand how i using my time.
Giving Importance to my Priorities
I will make a list of my priorities. Then i will always try to give time for my priorities. Sometimes people with a busy work schedule cant have the enough time to satisfy the priority levels and this can bring monotony and boredom towards the work life. So i will always make sure that i can give enough time to my top priorities.
Setting Work Goals
As an employee i will be very much dedicated towards my work. So i will try to set a proper working goal for achiving my work target. This kind of dedication about the work helps to give a pleasure feeling and helps to maintain a proper Work-Life Balance.
Setting Rules and Regulations
I always make a list of my rules and regulations like what i should do? and What i should not do. I will always try to set some fair and realistic rules and ethics and will always try to maintain those rules for balancing my Work-Life
Not only that i will always discuss about my plans with my Co-Workers and My family members. I think this strategy will really help in maintaining a proper Work-Life Balance.
Giving Time for Myself
I will always try to give time to my self. In this own time i will enjoy my interested activities like playing cricket, Lisenting Music etc. This can helps in relaxation and will help in maintaining a proper work-Balance.
Leaving Work At my Working Place
I will try to develop a mental on- off key between my work situation and home. So that i can leave the work tension when i am spending my time with my family. Either work pressure can damage my personal relationship and my mental peace. This kind of strategy i really thinks will surve my purpose.
Conclusion
After discussing all the facts of Work-Life balance i can say that my ideas are generated by the thoughts of Industrial Psychologists. I know very well that job satisfaction and maintaing a proper work life balance both are equal important. So after considering all the facts of job satisfaction i have stated my goals of work-Life balance. So that it can gives a proper job satisfaction and a proper job satisfaction can leads to a Balanced work life.
My all the strategies will give me relief from my everyday working pressure and also will motivate me for doing more good work.
