It is important to close the gender gap in the mentioned field, because it creates an environment that will promote the equality between the two genders in terms of the equity in education level, job opportunities and superior quality of life with lower mortality rates. Closing of the gender gap, means both the genders are getting equal level of education and health care facilities. Hence, bridging the gap, will bring better opportunities of jobs  as well as earnings so that both the genders can have equity in lifestyle and better facilities. More importantly, it will help female gender to more equipped with the skills and abilities if they get equal chance as it is received by male gender. It will also increase the labor force participation rate by the female gender specifically and more presence in higher management in the organizations. So, it is important to bridge the gender gap.
