1.Explode:This command is used to explode an object when you want to modify the components of it separately.Select the object to be explode and enter explode command prompt.

2.Layers:This command is used for controlling the visibility of objects and for assigning different properties like colors and linetype.Objects on a layer takes the properties of that particular layer.Select the object and apply layers.

3.Hatch:This command is used to fill the closed area.Example: walls area with brick hatching.It contains different hatchings based on the requirement it is chosen.Short cut key is H.It is also found in ribbon.Select type of hatch and click in the enclosed where u want to fill.

4.Extend:This command is used to extends objects to meet/coincide with other.Short cut key is EX.Select the boundaries then press Enter and select the objects that you want to extend to use all objects as boundaries, press Enter at the first Select Objects prompt.

5.Trim:This command is used to remove the extra lines and to make drawing neat and clear.i)Select the objects to serve as cutting edges then Enter when you finish selecting the cutting edges and to select all displayed objects as potential cutting edges, press Enter without selecting any objects.ii)Select the objects to trim and press Enter a second time when you finish selecting the objects to trim.Shortcut key:TR

6.Break:This command is to remove the selected object between two points.This is usually used to create space for text.Short cut key:BR

7.Calibrating paper size:This is to modify paper size u find this in application menu>print>manage plotter.We have to double click on the plotter configuration that you want to modify.In the Plotter Configuration Editor, click the Device and Document Settings tab the Double-click User-Defined Paper Sizes & Calibration to display the calibration and paper size settings.Select Modify Standard Paper Sizes.Under Modify Standard Paper Sizes, select the paper size you want to adjust. Then click Modify.In the Custom Paper Size wizard, adjust the printable area as necessary. Then click Finish to exit the Custom Paper Size wizard.This is how we modify/calibrate paper size.

8.Creating table:In this command we use the Table command to specify the number of rows and columns, stretch and resize the columns, rows, or the entire table.If you want to explode the table the click on the edges of the table and use explode command.

9.Offset:This command is for creating parallel lines,curves,concentric circles.Short cut key O.Choose offset command and select the object it asks for offset distance enter it and chose the direction for the offset and press enter.

10.fillet:This command is to round or fillet the edges of two 2D objects or the adjacent faces of a 3D solid.It asks for the first object then second object the direction and length of the arc created is determined by the points picked to select the objects.Short cut key is F
