How is a cancerous cell different from a normal cell?
Difference between Cancer Cell and Normal Cell:
1) Cancer Cell has mutation in their structure, so developed the ability to divide and grow uncontrollably without dying that results in tumor.
Normal Cell has predetermined structure and perform functions such as delivering nutrients ( amino acids, carbohydrates, fats etc.)
2) Cancer cell has small cytoplasm, multiple nuclei, multiple and large nucleoli
Normal cell has large cytoplasm, single nucleus, single nucleolus
3) Cancer cells divide and grow and even after they reach maturity, they do not stop dividing.
Normal cells divide and grow and once they reach maturity will stop and die
4) Cancer cells don't perform any functions bht have the ability to influence nearby cells that perform functions.
Normal cell matures and performs particular function but do not have the ability to influence nearby cells.
5) Cancer cells has higher mutations and genetic changes
Normal cells has ower mutations and genetic changes.
