Some examples of articles from the three different disciplines are:
Humanities - 'Revisiting Australia's War Art' - published in the journal - 'Humanities'.
Social Sciences - Media use and sexual behavior'- published in the Arts and Social Sciences journal.
Applied and Natural Science - 'Effect of organic manures on growth, yield and quality of turmeric' - published in the journal of applied and natural Science.
The author's writing style depends a lot on the subject matter at hand. Both the disciplines of humanities and social sciences deal with human aspects, however there is a thin line of difference - social sciences addresses the questions from a scientific point of view and humanities involves an approach which is more critical and analytical. Natural sciences rely mostly on robust hard scientific knowledge and principles. Most of the authors from the field of humanities adopt a style which is more or less speculative, critical and also has a historical element involved. Social sciences come somewhere between the pure natural sciences and humanities. A social scientist would make use of scientific explanations to the study of society. An author who represents the field of natural sciences, is someone who relies on scientific discovery, original research and innovation.
