SCIENCE

The word science originates from the Latin word 'Scientia' which means 'to know'. Science is a systematic attempt understand the natural phenomena in as much detail as possible. It is the use of knowledge to predict, modify and control the phenomenon. Scientific method contains as following things

1. Systematic observations

2. Control experiments

3. Qualitative and quantitative reasoning

4. Mathematical calculations for modelling

5. Predictions and verifications

Basically science contains two things. first is 'theory' and second is 'observations'. These two, theory and observations, must satisfy to each other.

APPLIED SCIENCE

Applied science basically is the application of fundamental science in human life. We apply some basic fundamental science for observation, predictions, experimental purpose and application purpose. It contains mathematics to give reasonable, qualitative and quantitative results of changes in any physical parameter or entity.

MATHEMATICS

Basically mathematics is the language of science. the results related to any physical or natural finomina can be come up for calculated with the help of mathematical approach any change in any physical observable can be calculated by assuming some other observable parameters on which date physical change depends. Basically mathematics shows the interdependency of observable physical parameters. Without mathematics it is not possible to predict the future state of any phenomenon. It is true that science exist without mathematical language but to understand science we have to use mathematics. like all we knows that this universe is working on some universal laws. if we don't know the dependency of those laws on some observable parameters then we cannot predict and modify that phenomenon.

TECHNOLOGY

Technology used to manufacture of any entity, which is material or immaterial, based on the manipulation and utilisation of scientific knowledge. Technology can be used to modify any physical phenomenon and also can we use to control some physical phenomenons. It can be used to perform new experiments and new observations in science field.

To understand all of these let us consider a simple problem. Let's consider that how to get to Mars?

the basic science part is that we have to understand the role of fundamental forces and the conservation laws which are involved in the process to get to the Mars which is like gravity heat momentum angular momentum and energy also many more. we have to understand the science behind all of these parameters and their dependency on the changes of other observable parameters like force depends on the mass and rate of change of velocity. Similarly linear momentum also depends on mass and velocity. If we consider the conservation law of mass energy then only we can pursue this problem. also we have to understand the role of all fundamental forces like gravitational force, electromagnetic force, strong and weak nuclear forces.

Now let us consider the part of applied science to solve this problem. To get to the Mars we have to calculate all the possible limitations or constraints which can affect the path of object heading to the Mars. When we apply all the basic fundamental science which is explained earlier to get a solution that how to get to the Mars, these all things comes into applied science like making a rocket and how to control the path of rocket so that we can reach to the Mars.

Now the role of mathematics is that to calculate exact and most correct results which can predict the future the path of the rocket in space. Then we will use some dynamics to control rocket path.

Now the real problem is if all the calculations and predictions are done then how to finalize the action to go the Mars?

Then we use technology to perform some results and some observations. Simply the experimental portion comes under technology.

So mathematics, applied science and fundamental science ends up to the technology.
