Think about a healthcare organization/clinic. Create a discipline and termination procedure and then analyze what is missing and how you would modify the procedure to make it more effective.
The name of the healthcare organization is Texas Health Resources.
Procedures for discipline and termination are:
Discipline:
1. Neglecting of duties are not tolerated
2. Wasting working hours are not allowed
3. Maintaining formal gestures to the patients is highly recommended
4. No unprofessional course of conduct within worksites
5. No violating of clinic rules and non-following of regulations
6. Solving patients party query with the heartwarming gesture
7. Providing detail billing to the patient party
8. All treatment rules of the clinic are required to be followed, no self-design rule is granted
9. Encouraging others to misconduct or damaging property are not allowed
Termination:
1. Continuous poor performance in the work assigned, especially in the patient treatment.
2. Failure to follow the organization policies
3. Theft attempt or violence causing factors
4. Malpractice with any staffs/patients for overcharging from the patient party out of medical billing
5. Wrong aspects of diagnosis lead to an end of the patient's life
6. Assigning wrong medicines and puzzling the patient party by the doctor will lead to immediate termination
7. Leaving emergency patients alone in the room without any monitoring process by the nurses or doctors will lead to termination
The missing part in Discipline is the doctors should create a report which will consist of the daily metrics of the patients undertaken with their basic ongoing diagnosis highlights. It will be helpful for the quality analysis team to Proctor in the treatment process.
The missing part in Termination process is that the authority or the administrative team should take reviews from the patients admitted in the clinic, and if the feedback seems to have more than four negatives against any staff associated to the clinic, an immediate termination letter would require to hand over to the staff without any inquiry. This clause is crucial to be implemented in the contract letter to make the clinical activities more static and effective.
