Why do daughters appear to benfit more from their mother's working than do sons in certain situations?
The daughters of working mothers become more responsible about their responsibilities and attain maturity before the others of their age. They are more likely to want to work and be more successful in the career themselves. They know the complexities of having to manage career and home at the same time and therefore are able to enjoy equal relationships. They consider their mothers to be their role models. They develope an adjusting nature right from their childhood which helps them achieve supervisory or managerial roles sooner and at better pay rates. Since they become more practical and independent in their attitude towards life, these daughters can face any criticism easily which helps them remain stress-free. The children of working mothers are more liberal towards others at the workplace. While the daughters develop strong career goals, the sons of working mothers become more caring and sensitive about sharing the household responsibilities and the parenting roles. They contribute equally in all the household chores.
