The term gender has been used in the field of social science to define the line between biological and social differences. Popular culture has transcribed these differences into the nature-versus-nurture debate. In popular culture, the use of these descriptors indicates a complete understanding of the breadth of both socially and biologically determined differences regarding the psychology of gender.

In this assignment, you will imagine you are part of a debate in a communications course. The debate is on the subject of nature versus nurture.

The facilitator will assign you to a debate team either in favor of nature or nurture.

Using the module readings, the online library resources and the Internet, research the subject of nature versus nurture. Select at least one scholarly, peer-reviewed resource for use in this assignment.

Provide a focused introduction that integrates the description of your assigned perspective along with a well-crafted argument.

Provide your closing arguments about why your perspective is more important in determining the psychology of gender and its impact on psychosocial development.

Include one personal example and one extraneous example from your research to support your assertions. The extraneous research example can be from the module readings or from independent research.

step-1

well- Crafted argument

Today world still majorly dominated by patritiach socity..Where discreamination are greatly prevalent between male and female on the basis of biological or social prespctive. But I am in favaour of nuture because this nuture and society create discreamination on the basis of biological potential and ability. These are decided men and female responsibility and do not give equal opportunity to flourish but there is so many things that women can do irespective of their physical potentialities.so nurture is responsible for gender discreamination not nature.for exmple, a girl have potentiality to qualify civil service examination as like boy.but mostly girl are not get oppertunity and environment wheather they get they prove themselves.

step-2

psychology creates specific Difference in treats of each gender .psychology determined gender on the basis of trait like femine and masculinity .But my argument is that tarit are not much determined to create discrimination as create nurture .A women can also be a pilot if she is properly nurtured .

impact of psycho-social develoment

Gender diffence have great impact on pscho-social develoment of boys or girls.from begning male child gets more privilege and facilities in family and society .therefore he becomes more socialize , emotional stable and develop leadership qualities.where women are confied four wall and do not get oppertunity to explore her talent or inner capabilities specially in india.so women have less occured of psycho-social develoment than men .for example, in our neighboured family, there is two children one boy and another girl .Economic condition is not standard .so only boy gets oppertunity for higher education but girls are prepared for marriage. Thouasand are example here in India .so it is clear that gender Difference have influencive impact on psycho-social development.
