In the contemporary scenario of one of the greatest pandemics "COVID- 19", there have been consistently the news from the various corners of the world, specifically the underdeveloped and the developing countries that some of the figures/ personalities of autority are asserting a "Typical recommended" way in the light of corona virus.

Some of the Indian actors and singers have asserted that "Ringing bells" will help to destroy the negative impact of the Corona viruses.

In the similar manner, there were suggestions to "Light the lamps" and thereby destroy Corona virus and the alled negativity.

Such assertions/ statements/ suggestions by actors, actresses, singers reflect the "Fallacy of appeal to authority".

There are no assurances and justification on the basis of sound reasoning and rationality. Such assertions lack evidences. Butr stiil, people treat these are true because they are from the persons who are considered to be with some "Authority/ influence/ impact".
