Which of the following are true of lymphatic vessels valves?
c. They are similar to the bicuspid valve.
d. They open to the interstitial fluid.
lymphatic vessels contain one way valves to prevent the back flow of lymphatic fluid .tiny one way valves pushes lymph from node to node.
option A is correct....lymphatic vessel valves are one way valves.....and veins in the body are also one way direction, veins carry blood back to the heart they contains valves that ensure blood flow in one direction. option c is also have one way valve direction but bicuspid valve in present in heart.... why option A is correct...option A is more similar to the above question that is lymphatic vessels valves and vein valves are similar in structure....these valves are present in inside the circulation of vessels.....bicuspid valve in not inside it is present in organ of the heart.
b) precapillary spincters is a band of smooth muscle that adjust the blood flow into cappilaries mainly in the mesenteric microcirculation.
c) bicuspid valve are allow blood in one direction only ,from left atrium to left ventricle. this is Also called as mitral valve it contains two flaps ( cups).
d) interstitial fluid is open into lymphatic capillaries....but this option is not related to the above question.
