If your boss was not sure it would be worth the investment to change the company’s hiring practices to include an evaluation of applicants’ attitudes, what would you tell him or her?

Solutions

Expert Solution

I will them him that evaluation of attitudes of applicants is necessary because of the following reasons:

1. People with positive attitude are generally more ambitious. They know their goals and will work towards them even when they have not been guided about it. These employees will see how work can be improved and will be self motivated to improve the job and be more productive.

2. Positive people are often humorous. They are often looking at things in a light-hearted way.

3. postive attitude is infectious and such a person will be able to motivate the team and keep the team morale high.

4. during tough times of stress these employees will be even more motivated and have a positive outlook

5. In case of any mistakes, the person will positive attitude will not be disheartened, instead they will take efforts to evaluate what went wrong and will solve the issue.

hence i will convince him using these points that hiring a person with positive attitude is utmost important.
