I have chosen a print ad of McDonalds which has the tag line open 25 hours. The background is black plain black. Before the symbol of McDonalds at the bottom of the right side a half sun and half-moon are printed.

AIDA full form is ATTENTION INTEREST DESIRE ACTION.

As per the analysis of the print Ad of Mc Donald’s I have analysed the following-

ATTENTION- The factors because of which I have more attention are as follows:

  1. Location- It was at the top of the building where a use to visit almost every day. While driving a car I found the ads before the traffic signals. This usually have the attention.
  2. Shock factor- The add having the statement written that open 25 hours. Its actually a shocking that 25 hours in a day which is not possible. What the statement trying to tell I have the curiosity.

INTEREST- The interest is an individual factor of the customer. As I have seen the ad I found that the whole advertisement is plain black colour which is my favourite colour. The content on the ad was also less so I understood easily.

DESIRE- The desires to be generated by the McDonalds as by showing a Yummy burger picture with the cheese coming out from it. This actually makes the mouth watery. This picture imitates me to buy the product. The clarity of the graphics on the plain black background attracts my attention. Now my desire has been created.

ACTION- The action which spur me to buy the product is availability of the resources for the payment, the hugeness and the availability of the McDonalds product at the centres. Final action based on the following factors. The price of the burger is in my budget so I bought the product.
