Part of _______ theories contained ideas about mandalas, mantras and the collective unconscious.
Part of Analytical Theories by Carl Jung contained the ideas about mandalas, mantras and the collective unconscious. This theory states that out mind is not empty but filled with influences and experiences faced by out ancestors and by presuppositions exerted upon it by the environment. Symbols, traditions, motifs etc that appear automatically are collectively called ;Archetypes' which are inherited by one from thier ancestors and their experiences over the time with the environment. All these fill up our psyche and one is not immune to its predetermining experiences. The together constitute the unconscious and thus also influences our conscious experineces, decisions, feelings and thoughts. Though individual consciousness is unique and one of a kind but there is another level of psyche which is more or less universal, collective and impersonal in nature. A part of this unconscious one identifies with, project and embody is known as persona. Many examples of collective unconscious can be seen and known from the similar mythological experiences, similar natured dreams amongst people of different cultures, regions etc. experiencing is straight from the bank of the collective unconscious library they have inherited from their ancestors and not their individual or unique predisposition.
