  Answer1- all specimen which are living must be grow in size as well as number, must be respirate and must be reproduce.

Answer-2 . specimen which do not grow in size and number by its own , which do not show respiration and reproduction are considered to be non living.

Here virus in the link between living and non living because inside the host body its act like a living entity while outside host body it act like a dead particle.
