Please tell me why photosynthesis is vital for animals. Please explain about it in detail

1. first of all we need to know what is photosynthesis - Photosynthesis is nothing but the reaction where light energy is converted into chemical energy and oxygen in the presence of sunlight and water.

2. Reaction 6CO2 + 6H2O gives (in the presence of light) C6H12O6  + 6 O2   

the reaction shows that 6 molecules of carbon dioxide combines with 6 molecules of water and gives 1 molecule of glucose and 6 molecules of oxygen.

3. There many reasons why photosynthesis is important for humans lets see first - Plant is the major food source for the human and many herbivorous animals. Which provides the energy for survival.

4. The food cycle also starts from the plants which prepare food by the process of photosynthesis.

5. along with food the major factor which is important for life on earth is oxygen. It is impossible to imagine life without oxygen. This oxygen is also produced during the process of photosynthesis. During photosynthesis, plants release oxygen into the environment and absorb carbon dioxide.

6. So photosynthesis is inseparable need of animals.
