Environmental change is an external force, which means that the company has little to no control over it, so organizations have to make changes from within to adapt. Inclusion of lower level employees is a growing concept.

How can lower-level worker could help?

1. Lower-level workers are usually in direct contact with the customers which allows them to take feedbacks in such a situation, which can be gold if the management wishes to adapt.

2. Lower-level workers have their social groups with similar workers in the competitors, companies can use that information to make changes as well.

3. At the end of the day, Lower-level workers also have to go through the change that top level managers wish to implement, by providing constant feedback, support and willingness to cooperate, they can help ease the transition of the company.

4. Keeping costs in check is one of the main concerns of the management during transition and lower level workers who are directly involved in production, mostly know if there's a room for improvement in processes which can help avoiding waste which can be a great help to organizations.
