1. People steal money and other valuable items from the houses.

2. They mortgage their house to cover expenses.

3. They have to sell the valuable items to raise the money.

4. They have to wipe out retirement accounts to get help.

5. When people start consuming drugs, they give less importance to relationship.

6. They lose their interest in school, sports and work.

7. They start to withdraw family members and activities.

8. People become rebellious and defiant with family members.

9. They have money swings.

10. They verbally and physically assault others.

Policies that reduce harm of drugs:- Harm reduction is a set of ideas and interventions. The drug policy advocates for:

1. Fact- based drug education.

2. Awareness programs for drug-related illness and injury.

3. Effective, evidence-based drug treatment for probelmatic persons.

4. Repairing the harm of racialized drug policies.
