ANS- A biologically informed approach to studying the behavior of human behavior. Evolutionary psychology provides a target that is critical. Differences in gender on the basis of sexuality and mating preferences are the outcomes of the passed genes from the ancestors and are based on natural selection and the interaction while selecting the mate. It is basically the study of how we came to be, it's not about how we have to be. Females focus on traits that indicate the ability to acquire superior resources. Males focus on the signals of fertility. Females are selective over their mate and at the time of investment, males are selective. It is inadequate in explaining cross-cultural research because it starts with an effect but works in reverse order at the time of explanation, It does not recognize the social influence and the cultural influence, people do not take the responsibility for their sexual behavior. Similarities and differences in sex have pertained to social behavior. These differences and similarities come from the distribution of social roles of men and women in the society.
