THE RESEARCH PROPOSAL

The Research Proposal is a complete description of the intended research, developed under the supervision of the assigned supervisor. Through the full proposal, the student needs to demonstrate convincingly that the study will make a contribution to human resource management issue or problem. The full research proposal must be between 5 and 10 pages and should present the following:

 Mechanisms to assure the quality of the study – e.g. control of bias, safe storage of data

 Study period - Timetable for completion of the project

 Participants in the study – all people involved in the study,

 Ethical considerations

 Resources required for the study, including budget if applicable

1- TITLE-

Performance management study of employees for human resource management.

2- INTRODUCTION-

Performance management is the study of evaluating the performance of employee at job which comes under the human resource management as it would help the HR manager to measure the actual performance of the employee with set standards of the company. Performance management helps in dealing with the issues like-

  • poor efficiency of job
  • poor working environment
  • increment of cost
  • Delay of work etc.
  • poor quality

3- BACKGROUND OR STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM-

In organizations there is a typical issue identified with the poor execution of the representatives which can cost to organization in such a case that representatives won't work with full proficiency then it would expand the organization cost and minimize the profit. But performance management helps the company to set standards which would be checked by the manager that performance is equal to the standards or below the standards.

4- OBJECTIVES-

The objective of this research problem is to implement the performance management system in the company to increase the job efficiency & productivity of employees.

5- TYPE OF STUDY-

The type of study for this research proposal would be observational & cause & effect study which would describe the study of the behavior & performace of the employees at work by observation & identify the cause which leads to that behavior.

For example- the over working hours could be a cause of poor performance.

Poor salary structure could be a cause to study.

6- STUDY POPULATION & SAMPLING-

Under this research proposal, the sampling would be simple random sampling which would give each individual in the population a equal & even chance to be study or chosen.

7- DATA COLLECTION METHODS & INSTRUMENTS-

Data collection in my research proposal would include-

  • questionnaires asked to audience
  • interviews with the individuals about the performance management program
  • Past performance record of employee in the company.

8. Data analysis

Human joining and assignment reconciliation require essentially assorted administration activities, and center around various objectives (representative happiness versus operational coordinated efforts), so they both have been taken autonomously. 11- PARTICIPANTS IN THE STUDY-

Participants in the study would include the people like employees from each department like marketing, finance, production etc. & also their respective team leaders or seniors which would be studied under this research.

12- ETHICAL CONSIDERATIONS-

This research proposal would not follow something which would be unethical or unaccepted by others.
