Expert Solution

Part 1 Define

In logic, an “Exclusive Or” situation: It is a Boolean operator working on two variables, which has the value one if one of the two variable is one or true and it has a value zero or false when both the variables has a value of one.

“library of congress classification ”: Library of Congress Classification (LCC) is a system which developed to organize and arrange the book collection of the Library of congress. It is used by many of the research and academic libraries in the US and many other countries.

Within the “library of congress classification” , what is the two-letter code for “commerce”(business)?: HF

Empirical evidence: It is the evidence that scientists collects with the help of observation & experience to support & evaluate scientific expansions.

Anecdotal evidence: it is the non factual information passed on to the people & it is based on observation. It is also defined as testimony which is true, false, related or not related depending upon isolated examples of someone's personal experience.

Longitudinal study: These are the study which follow one set of participant over time, with the help of research methods like survey, experiment or observation. the important aspect of this studies are that participants are the same and measurements are taken over a time in order to make the comparison. In simple way we can say that It is a research method where the information's are collected for the same subject repeatedly over a period of time.

Likert scale: It is psychometric response scale , it consists of series of statements, where each statement consists of number of ordered response alternatives. It is mainly used in questionnaires to gain participant's.
