work physiology/thermoregulation of "running the case" onshore oil rig?
Thanks
Onshore or land base drilling is a drilling with rigs that are moved in by ground transportation .
The work physiology is as follows:-
1. Assemble the tool
Tool is putting down into well. The rig supervisor (toolpusher) oversees tool assembly alongside the driller . After placing of tool , drilling can commence.
2. Make mud
Mud is pumped through drill pipe into well . The density and chemical composition of the mud must be altered to fit the wall .
3. Lay pipe
Pipe is lay by the roughnecks and driller operates machinery.
When drill reach at end of the pipe section currently attached to the drill motor , another section is attached for drilling.
4. Shake
Drilling fluid pushed up from well is cycled through shakers. And rig supervisor examine that what kind of rock is being drilled into and what kind of adjustments are required in mud. And whether a new bit required.
5. Finish the wall
A cementer is brought to the rig to formulate a cement plug to close it.
Then it is connected to a pump system to extract the oil from well.
