Answer)

7) Some of the basic assembler functions are as follows:

a) Converting mnemonic operations which code for machine language equivalent.

b) It helps in converting the symbolic operands to machine addresses.

c) Building the machine instruction.

d) It is needed to convert the data from constants to the internal representations

e) It also helps in writing the object program as well as the assembly listing files.

8) Some of the processes associated with the dynamic linking which are being described in steps are as follows:

  • First the list of the modules are determined which can be constituted for the DLL. Also, there is another account which is impossible for any import entities from among the executable of DLL.
  • Then it is the source files which are to be moved for the modules to the separate directories. This should be differentiated from the directories which would have the source file for the executable as well as the other DLLs.
  • Then create the project file for the DLL with the settings as needed.
  • Keeping the steps being repeated till the setup is done and then adding the settings for main project file.
  • The object as well as symbol should be removed from the application modules.
  • Building the DLL projects and the ,ain projects then running the application

10) It is a real machine where the SIC adds the 48-bit floating point data type and is an XE expansion.
