Workplace violence refers to the unfair or unequal activities and behavior used for the employees in an organization. The three significant categories of prevention strategies are:
1) Behavioral strategy: Under this strategy, employees have to face some inequality related to the behavior of the staff members of the organization such as inequality among employees during training programs. Therefore, behavioral strategy helps to make such programs to be equally provided to all the employees.
2) Administrative controls: Under this strategy, organizations make unfair activities related to the staffing process such as provide different salary package to the same level employees. Administrative strategy helps to provide fair salary package to the employees according to the position or level in the organization.
3) Environmental comfort: Under this strategy, organization provides lack of services to their employees related to the working environment such as lack of functional services of the system that is used to do work. Under this strategy, organizations try to provide a good working environment with having good lightening and better functioning computers or laptops.
