Basically the GMO stands for the genetically modified organisms which may comprises of the plant or the animal as well in which there is the modification that takes place in the genes which usually takes place in the genetic laboratory.in which the genetic engineering plays the most prominent role.

So due to this genetic engineering there is the invention of different plants as well as the animals which doesnt occur from the nature or through the cross breeding.

So due to the GMO there is various benefits that has been achieved such as the GMO in the animals can lead to the better production of the milk, meat as well as the eggs as this is due to the new gene that has been inserted into their genome.

Also the benefits of the GMO helps in the better taste of the crops in the plants as well as helps to increase the nutrition.

Also with the benefits there are also the disadvantages of the GMO which will be harmful for the human being.As the GMO used in the food in crops can leads to certain side effects which is harmful for the body.

There is also the possibility that the GMO can lead to the damage in the environment which also affects the human health.

gene editing is the technique which also comes under the genetic engineering. As in the gene editing there is certain operations that can be done on the DNA. which include the deletion, insertion, modification of the DNA.

There are certain benefits of the gene editing which may include in can useful in the reduction of the genetic disorder. Also this technique helps the human being to live long as well as the healthy life.
