ANSWER :

1. Cloud, Fog, Edge which interoperability is better for HPC environment.

Edge is a better for HPC environment. Edge computing occur directly on the devices to which the sensors are connected whereas in Cloud the data is processed on the central cloud server which is usually located far from the source of information.

In FOG the computing tasks are take place on processors that are connected to LAN hardware and they are more distant from the sensors.

Edge computing is more secure than other two because data remain on device itself and edge it is faster than other two also. In order to deal with huge amount of data , HD quality data online and especially in the age of 5G network and 4k visuals companies prefer Edge computing.

2. Role of Clustering Technology in Machine Learning, IoT enabled environment , Paas Environment and Network Softwarization:

CLUSTERING TECHNOLOGY refers to the grouping of two or more servers connected with nodes to form a network and working together as a single system to mission critical database management system, general business applications and handle variable workloads.

Benefits of Clustering Technology:

  • Availability
  • Scalability
  • Simplified Administration

Clustering Technology in Machine learning :

In Machine Learning clustering is required to automatically discover the natural grouping in data. Clustering Algorithms interpret the input data find natural groups in feature space. Data points that are in same group have similar properties and data points in different groups have high dissimilar properties.

IoT enabled emvironment:

IoT based application relies on efficient communication and utilization of the devices and data acquired in order to accomplish certain task. E.g of IoT application are home automation security and military survelliance, industrial applications etc.

Clustering plays an important role in collaboration of these devices and helps on acquiring the information in an efficient way with minimum number of communications in the network.

Clustering also helpful in prolonging the network lifetime.

For efficient clustering in IoT environment Two layer Architecture framework is introduced in which upper layer consist of IP enabled IOT devices and lower layer consist of simply sensor devices. In grouping these devices clustering algorithms are used i.e. Heuristic Based Algorithms and Graph based algorithm.

Clustering in PaaS environment

PaaS means Platform as a Service.

PaaS enables to deliver everything from cloud based applications to cloud enabled enterprise applications. It typically include database, web servers, operating system etc.It enable customers to develop , run and manage the applications without any complexities and building infrastructure.PaaS offer security, database storage , web service integration, team collaboration , workflow management, state management etc. and it is only possible through cloud computing or clustering of various devices that are work in collaboration as a single system.

Example of PaaS are Google App Engine Window Azure etc.

Clustering in Network Softwarization

In order to save the energy in mobile networks, improvement of network efficiency, traffic management, forecasting , network quality and load balancing the clustering plays an important role.

Software Defined Networking (SDN) and Network Function Virtualization (NFV) technologies are basically used in 5 G cellular communications and it is totally based on mobile computing.

Grouping of Network Functions, running the virtualized functions on clouds and redesigning of network is there to only use NFV technology.

5G technology is adopting network densification approach in which large number of base stations are connected to increase the network coverage and provide the high throuput to users.

It allows resource c onfigurations and associations to be changed on demand and support least cost mobility management.
