Give a detailed explanation to the following question.
Compare and contrast two types of herbicides commonly used in agriculture in terms of mode of action, application, selectivity, characteristics in soils and degradation pathways.
Ans) Selective herbicide and Non selective herbicides are mainly use in agriculture.
Mode of action: Herbicide is the use agriculture in different type of chemical. Chemical prevent the metabolism of sugars in plants, while another inhibit the development of an essential hormone.
Application: Different herbicide may be applied in different ways liquid and sprayed. Herbicide usually chemical for killing the weeds plants. It's for commonly as weedkillers.
Selectivity: selectivity depends only users. Basically select the unwanted plant for killing by the herbicide chemical.
Characteristics of soil: we can see the different characteristics of soil in herbicide use. Water solubility, pressure and molecules are changed there.
Degradation pathways: Herbicides are basically use in chemical so we can see the degradation pathways. Chemical decomposition, Microbial degradation, Absorption of soil components and plant uptake.
