A1) When Anvil Media connected with industry experts/contacts, Anvil Media was aware about the person's background in advance via his/her profile and prfessional expertise already listed. This acted as a screening process for Anvil Media and now they can only get in touch with the limited audience, thus reducing the screening time.

Q2.) Why should one seek recommendations from people on LinkedIn?

A2.) LinkedIn is like a huge professional community where one can find almost every professional of a different level of expertise in their respective domain of work. Not everyone is exposed to same level of work even within same domain. Thus, the hands on expertise and experience is always of utmost importance and thus, looking at the profile, one can seek recommendation from people on LinkedIn.

Q3.) Why is it important to optimize a LinkedIn profile with keywords?

A3.) Whenever someone wants to connect with you on LinkedIn but does not know you, lets say a recruiter of your domain searches with the keyword "Java" then related profiles will show up with that particular keyword. If you have included the keyword of your domains in your LinkedIn profile, it will help you bring in different level of opportunities via unknown sources. Thats how web system works. So, if we are open to new opportunities and ready to help people with the domain knowledge we have, it is important to include keywords.

A4.) As there is a saying, first impression is the last impression, your LinkedIn answers are a perfect way to show that you have it in you. Everyone reacting or commenting on the post / answer will have that post / answer to show to their network connections. Thus the chain exponentially grows if your answer shows your expertise and skiils and people. There might be more related people on connection for different people and this way the connection grows and a larger audience understands your expertise.
