The Internet, social networks, Internet marketing, and digital tracking systems that allow targeted marketing to individuals have changed and continue to change the landscape of markets. What do you believe is the most significant means by which digital marketing has influenced the landscape of the marketing world? Why do you believe this? Why would digital marketing be impeded without this influence? Support your position.
The most significant mean used by digital marketing is its ability to cross the boundaries of the nations and reach out the specific target audience in different parts of the world. It increased the reach of the marketing and marketers could influence the customers and convince them to buy the products and make companies to earn more revenues. The second significant mean is the serving customized content to different targeted audience so that effective of marketing has increased and it has given the concept of hyper local marketing as well as localized marketing. It has made digital marketing to change the marketing landscape and marketers of big companies or smaller companies are using it frequently to benefit the companies and customers both.
I believe because it is very important for the marketer to serve what is demanded by the customers. For this, it is very important to give customized communication to make the perfect fit for the customers. Further, customers are present in different markets for the same product, and it is important to reach out to these people. It is facilitated by digital marketing so I believe in this way.
If not done this way, digital marketing will lose the edge and it will become more similar to the traditional marketing. So, inability of the digital marketing not serving localized content and not reaching out to the target audience in different parts of the world.
To justify my argument, it can be observed that Facebook has over 2.5 Billion active users and Facebook earned over $69 Billion in 2019, in marketing activities that is the part of digital marketing under social media marketing segment. It is due to the reason that marketers are targeting customers in different markets. On a similar note, it is Google Ads revenue that earned over $134 billion in 2019 that serves the best digital marketing in the way of using localized as well as targeted marketing to reach out to the different parts of the world. So, it justifies the argument.
